岡部和倫統括診療部長はアメリカ医師免許も取り、ハーバード大学医学部の主要教育病院であるブリガム アンド ウイミンズ病院（ボストン、アメリカ合衆国）に勤務し、悪性胸膜中皮腫に対する外科治療では世界一のシュガーベーカー教授から手術を学びました。
Kazunori Okabe, M.D., Chief, Division of Thoracic Surgery, got American Medical License as well as Japanese one, and worked in Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston, USA) which is the principal teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. He learned surgery for malignant pleural mesothelioma from Professor Sugarbaker who is well known as the best in the world.

Dr. Okabe learned Pleurectomy/Decortication for malignant pleural mesothelioma from Dr. Sugarbaker and Dr. Friedberg. Dr. Friedberg is called “King of P/D”.
